Delete Account
You can permanently delete your EngageDM account and all associated data at any time from Settings â Account.
This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, all your data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Make sure you really want to proceed before continuing.
What gets deleted
- Your EngageDM account and login credentials
- All automations, DM templates, and configuration
- All contacts and interaction history stored in EngageDM
- Analytics data and usage history
- Connected Instagram account tokens (EngageDM loses access; your Instagram account itself is unaffected)
- Any active or pending subscription â billing stops immediately
Subscription cancellation vs. account deletion are different. Cancelling a subscription keeps your account and data intact until the billing period ends. Deleting your account removes everything immediately, including mid-cycle subscriptions. Refunds for unused time are not automatically issued â contact [email protected] before deleting if you want to discuss a refund.
How to delete your account

Go to Settings â Account
In the EngageDM dashboard sidebar, click Settings then open the Account tab.

Scroll to the "Danger Zone" section
At the bottom of the Account page you will find the account deletion option under the Danger Zone heading.

Click "Delete Account"
A confirmation dialog will appear describing exactly what will be deleted.

Confirm by typing your email address
Type your account email in the confirmation field to verify your intent, then click Permanently Delete.

Done â you'll be signed out
Your account and all data are deleted immediately. You will be signed out and redirected to the home page.
Data retention after deletion
EngageDM deletes all personal data from its databases upon account deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you may be retained for internal reporting purposes.
Changed your mind? If you'd rather pause activity instead of deleting, consider pausing all automations or cancelling your subscription first. You can reactivate your account at any time before deletion.
